Match report On the back of last weeks game being rained of at Musselburgh the twos were keen to get going in this local derby.

Some excellent bowling restricted Falkland to 131 in 40 overs. Key figures Waj's 5 overs 2 for 7. Barney 8 overs 3 for 27 - but wicket of the day goes to Shayan Raja who took his first senior wicket on debut at 11 years old.

Batting key performances were from the JP and Waj partnership which put the game into Dunfermline's hands - before JP fell for 16 following a 62 partnership - Waj scored his first 50 of the season getting to 52 before being stumped. The experienced duo of Peter Millmore and Brian Brown then saw the game home with 3 balls to spare.

Next up a difficult trip to face Bass Rock - who have won all 6 games - granted 3 have been home games that have been conceded by the opposition who dont seem keen to travel that little extra distance. But we will be more than happy to make the trip and be their first home league match of the season.
