Match report D&C CC got off to a good pre season campaign against a Glenrothes 11(10).

On a sunny day skipper Miller opted to field first.

All bowlers bowled well - Bruce Callan got the plaudits with 3 wickets and 3 catches - but all bowlers barring Cooper took at lease 1 wicket - Khan had the best figures with 8 overs 4 maidens 2 for 6.

Batting wise Spreng and Honeyford made a solid start before Snook bowled Honeyford. Spreng retired after a solid 56 allowing the Callan brothers to finish the game off to win by 9 wickets. Murray outscoring Bruce 23 to 17!

We had 19 overs to spare - but this was a good game to get some pre season rustyness out the way.

Next up Linlithgow in the league away next weekend.
