Dunfermline and Carnegie Cricket Club Lost by 16 runs

Match report Due to adverse weather this game was reduced to 35 overs per side. D&C welcomed back to the club Mathew Howis and Mushy Beg.

Batting first Accies started well - but Howis and Daughtrey slowed them down. Howis getting a wicket with his first ball and soon had 3 more.

Daughtrey took 2 wickets while Turnbull and young Dylan Wood also took 2.

The visitors closed on 164 all out. With opener Kansara top scoring with 45.

Miller and Spreng opened for the hosts - and took the score quickly to 19 - before Miller was adjudged LBW being hit on the full with the ball drifting down legside.
The same happened shortly after to Spreng.

Muzz got a quack before Mushy and Bruce Callan started a recovery. Mushy showing some fine form - getting to 60 in the chase before losing his wicket. Inzi added 15 in quick time also - but D&C fell 16 runs short at the end of the innings.

Some lose bowling gave the oppo too many runs - while with the bat two dubious LBW's started a downward spiral with Mushy adding respect to the score.

Another very close game but another loss....improvement required.
