Match report Inspirational twos skipper Sazzle Dazzle Khan let the super twos with only nine men to their second and most convincing win of the season.

Bearing in mind this was done with just 9 men against a team in the top 5 in the league this was an exceptional performance.

Asked to bat first Dunf & Carn found themselves struggling at 44 for 5 but a sixth wicket stand of 109 between Wayne Sullivan and Sandeep saw the super 2's reach 153 before Sandeep went for 34. Sullivan dropped from skippering the ones as a punishment for one week for being too grumpy helped guide the score to 186 but was finally dismissed for 88. The Dunfermline innings ended in the last over.

Target for SMRH was 186 - which gave Dunfermline a sniff of victory - but they would have to bowl and field exceptionally well with 9 players.

And that they did. Things didn't start great but they got their first breakthrough when Sandeep trapped Dry LBW for 18.

Wickets started to tumble at regular intervals with run outs and excellent bowling from Turnbull, Khan, Cooper, Sullivan and Sandeep all bowling to a tight field and to plan.

SMRH were finally bowled out for 170 in the second last over as Turnbull dismissed Phipps.

This was an excellent all round team performance. The 2's pretty much batted all their overs - and would certainly have done had they an extra two players.
Fielding the bowlers bowled excellently and to a plan.

It may be too late to kick start a promotion push - but if the twos can continue to keep up this type of performance then who knows.
Next up for the 2's a winnable game against 3rd in the Table Morton 2's.
