Dunfermline and Carnegie's Kwik Cricket Festival, witnessed an incredible display of sportsmanship and talent as over 120 enthusiastic young cricketers gathered to compete. The picturesque setting of the event at Mckane Park provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with excitement and friendly competition.
The festival showcased the remarkable skill and dedication of primary school students from the local area. Among the highlights were Cairneyhill Primary School and Touch Primary School, both demonstrating exceptional teamwork and reaching the semifinals of the tournament. Cairneyhill Primary School proudly sported their burgundy uniforms, while Touch Primary School stood out in their vibrant blue attire.
The grand final showcased the exemplary performance of Pitreavie Primary School and Canmore Primary School. The thrilling match captivated the audience as the young cricketers exhibited their talents on the field. Ultimately, Canmore Primary School emerged victorious, securing the well-deserved title of champions.
