Introducing Dunfermline and Carnegie's Club President: Dejesh Deenadayalan (AKA DJ)

DJ Deenadayalan is a passionate cricket enthusiast and the president of the Dunfermline and Carnegie cricket club. He was elected to the post at the 2022 AGM and has since been working hard to ensure that the club is known as the best in Fife in all aspects.

DJ not only loves cricket but also has other interests such as photography and droneography. He is passionate about contributing to the club’s success and is actively involved in training sessions and other activities to engage with other members. He has set a goal to promote grass root cricket, equality, and togetherness in the club.

DJ's favourite cricketer is India’s Rahul Dravid, whom he admires for his conduct on and off the field. His favourite cricketing moment is when he sees his son representing the club at a competitive level. He is also determined to improve the club’s governance structure and ensure that all members feel a part of the team.

DJ is a passionate, dedicated president who is determined to make Dunfermline and Carnegie cricket club the best in Fife. With his leadership, the club is sure to reach great heights.

Want to get involved in a welcoming club – get in touch – or just turn up to our training sessions we have started a third eleven this year to expand the cricketing opportunities for all and would welcome new members.

Training for Juniors is currently ongoing at Woodmill High School on Friday evenings from 7 pm til 9 pm while the Senior Training Starts this Sunday and will be weekly at Cluny Clays from 12 pm to 2 pm. All sessions are led by our Club Coach Steve Rowley.
