The East League have published a disciplinary statement on the match between Dunfermline & Carnegie and Edinburgh CC - awarding the match to Edinburgh.

Please note that the club are currently appealing this verdict as there are inconsistencies in the actual report we have received from the East League and our report on the events on the day. 

We would like to assure our members that Dunfermline and Carnegie did not refuse to play as was stated in the East League statement - we were unable to continue to play following statements made by the opposition. The catch in question was not the reason for play not reconvening but a catalyst to the problem which arose.
